Fixed term, or indefinite?

An indefinite agreement ends when either side gives notice. A fixed-term one runs to its end date — and under art. 673 §3 of the Civil Code it can only be ended early for reasons written into the contract itself. Leave those out and neither of you can leave, including a landlord whose tenant has stopped paying. This generator will not export a fixed-term agreement until you name at least one.

A parking space is not a dwelling

Poland's tenant-protection act covers homes, not parking. A garage or a bay runs on the Civil Code (art. 659–692), which leaves both sides far more freedom over notice and termination than a flat would. The generated agreement says so on its face, because people reasonably assume the rules they know from renting a flat apply here too.

Questions people ask

Is a parking rental agreement valid without a notary?
Yes. A rental agreement for a parking space or garage is valid in ordinary written form, signed by both parties. A notary is not required at any rent level. Keep one signed copy each.
Can a fixed-term agreement be terminated early?
Only for reasons written into the agreement itself. Article 673 § 3 of the Polish Civil Code allows early termination of a fixed-term lease exclusively in the cases the contract names, so if none are listed neither side can leave before the end date — including a landlord whose tenant has stopped paying.
Do tenant-protection rules apply to a parking space?
No. The Polish tenant-protection act covers dwellings. A garage or parking space is governed by the Civil Code, articles 659 to 692, which gives both sides considerably more freedom over notice periods and termination.
How much notice is normal?
One month, ending on the last day of a calendar month, is the common arrangement for an indefinite agreement. The generator defaults to that and lets you change it.
